    General Manager

    Dave began his career with Bon Appétit after a successful run as a chef in independent restaurants in Boston, MA and Austin, TX. The commitment to a food-first culture, local sourcing, along with the entrepreneurial freedom drew him to Bon Appétit. He loves having the ability to create a hospitality program that can be tailored to meet the individual needs of each account. This has led to a fulfilling 10 years with the company.

    Executive Chef

    Patrick was born and raised in Euclid, Ohio. As the youngest of seven he was introduced to home cooking by his mother at an early age, and he started in the business as a dishwasher when he was fourteen, and was cooking a year later. After attending the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, he worked mhisway through several restaurants and a start-up fresh pasta company. He ended up in higher education 12 years ago, and has been with Bon Appetit at Hillsdale College for two years.

  • AnnaMaria Harutunian
    Director of Operations

    Originally from Allen Park, Michigan Anna is the youngest of five children. She is proud to say that her love for food started when she was a child helping her mother create unique and delicious Armenian foods. In 1999 she graduated from Michigan State University with a B.A. in Hospitality Business. By 2006 she obtained her MBA in business and continued her career in food service. She’s been in the field for over 24 years and enjoys what she does especially when it comes to marketing. She enjoys spending time with friends and family. Motherhood is the most difficult yet most rewarding job she’s ever had.

  • Blake Sawdey
    Catering Manager

    Blake Sawdey has been with Bon Appetit since the first day of operation here at Hillsdale College. When the company launched, he saw an opportunity to further his career. He began devoting time to learning every aspect of every position. Ever since, his career has flourished. The part of his position that he enjoys the most is working with clients to create memorable events with sustainable and delicious food. Blake feels very blessed to be working with such an incredible catering team.

  • Shawn P. Ferguson
    Catering Chef

    Shawn P. Ferguson is originally from Indiana, and holds an associate degree of Applied Science in the Culinary Arts, from the Chef Academy in downtown Indianapolis. During his career, he has held the titles of Executive Chef, Catering Sous Chef, and has worked for country clubs, in fine dining, casual dining, gastro pubs and as a restaurant consultant.Shawn began his career with Bon Appetit as a Traveling Chef, and he joined the company because he believes in Bon Appetit’s mission and philosophy.

    Sous Chef

    Christian Willoughby attended culinary school at Schoolcraft College in Livonia, Michigan. Before joining the Bon Appetit Team, He was a culinary instructor at The Cris Cole School for the Blind in Austin, Texas, and was the Chef at the Dahlia Café in Liberty Hill, Texas.

    Sous Chef

    Josh has been in the industry for 28 years and loves the challenges that a new day brings. he recently relocated from Minnesota and became a father for the second time. Being a part of Bon Appetit gives him the opportunity to stay creative and be a keeper of their dream.

  • Stacey Rossen
    Café Manager

    Stacey’s educational background is from Davenport Business College in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She has been in food service her entire working career starting out in the grocery store business in 1986 and moving into higher education in 2008. In 2015, she started with Bon Appetit as one of the supervisors for A.J.’s café. In January of 2017 she was promoted into the role of Café Manager. She loves the ever changing atmosphere and the challenge of constantly creating fun and new menu ideas. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, camping and spending time with her friends and family.

    JoAnn’s career has taken her through a variety of industries, and she am happy to have found one that really excites her passion. She joined Bon Appetit in August 2014 with the opening of the unit here at Hillsdale College. She loves working for a company that is committed to responsibly sourcing and preparing great food every day. The energy and activity of a college campus is a great atmosphere to promote the creativity that makes this a truly special place for her spend each work day.
